High on a hill stood a campsite......

A travel blog entry by thehamptons

... br> All this said the views were amazing – the Massif Central and the Puy de Dome in all its glory – spread out before us, with a wonderful sunset also.

BUT, apart from all of this the place was charming and the owner more than helpful! When asked about eating, he offered to add us to his party that he was cooking for, so for the amazing sum of 39E we had dinner (Mussels/Pork/Icecream/Coffee), wine and overnight camping ...

The structure gives the impression that you are floating above the villages, which are way, way down in the valley below you.
