      ... de Karuizawa. L'eau coule en filets, des gens l'appellent la cascade des nouilles ou qque chose comme ça. Après on est allé manger dans un resto italien réputé du coin.       Plans changed slightly because of imminent arrival of typhoon. Wake up 6.30. Breakfast-buffet. Coffee,juice,eggs,croissants,fruit and strange sausages. Left bags before 8.30 so they could be forwarded on to Tokyo (hopefully will see it next on Monday night). Ok when left Dormy Inn, started with light rain then got steadily heavier.       ... it. However, Norzin said that we should say something so asked the girl who had brought our luggage up, if she could ask the manager. She came back a few minutes later and we were upgraded to a suite. We had a small lounge on one side and the beds were on the other side. This was the biggest room we have had in Japan so far. Looks like the hotel must have been full if they couldn't offer us a non-smoking room of similar size. Thank you, Norzin. ...

      ... bolognese, bread and naan, as well as a Japanese beef curry with rice, followed by a decadent dessert. I'm not usually a dessert person but ended up having one with ice-cream, apple strudel with fruit and cream (although I avoided the cream). Joseph's dessert was, well, his typical dessert; not tiramisu but something with corn flakes at the bottom, stacked with cream and some other chocolate/coffee sauce.
