... so we had dogs on the train as well - very interesting. Someone was about to start smoking but no guesses as to who pointed out the "no smoking" sign so he put his smokes away (thank goodness). So another 2.5 hours and we were in Tirano. Checked in and had dinner of beef medallions (200gm steak) and mushrooms before our train ride to St Moritz tomorrow. 28.10.14 Left Vaile Di Caises this morning under a very heavy frost. Thought we would outsmart Bruce the navigator and avoid the Autostrada. It did work and he took us into the Dolomites over Cortina above the tree line with great views which you will see. Today, the 5 of us, plus John and Daniela headed off to Trento for the day, a gorgeous little town south west of Fiera.
