    ... and an entire block of restaurants and bars. There was a huge park and people flying giant kites along the Rhine. And that was about it. Because everything else was closed.     ... is in celebrates All Saints Day on November 1st, so there are a lot of things that are closed. We still got a good feel for the city though. Tomorrow, we're renting the car and driving to Amsterdam! I'm nervous about driving somewhere where I can't read the signs!     Dad and I went over to Kaarst to meet Herr Strauss who is the director of the Kaarster Nepal Initiative which is an organisation that tries to support and develop possibilities for children in Nepal (http://www.ngo-forum.de/).
