It is a typical Indonesian hotel not like an English hotel. Our villa was lovely although there could have been more wardrobe spare for the 4 of us. The staff are very helpful and more than happy to assist with anything. There are 3 reasonably large pools for all the villas to use. Breakfast is served every morning but don't get there when it's nearly finishing as there isn't a lot of food left.

... on going to one of the Gilli's, but then we read about a place called Nusa Lembongan. What a place!

Leaving at 9am the next morning, taking the shuttle bus to Sanur (50,000), to try and catch the public ferry to the island. Owing to the rainy season, it seems that the public ferry isn't running, so we ended up paying for a private speed boat (300,000 return). A very bumpy ride across some huge swells but forty minutes later, we found ourselves in a place ...

Despite, or because of the simplicity and the peace and quiet, I slept really heavily last night, waking to the sounds of the waves this morning. Tys slept at the foot of my bed on a single mattress and they rigged up a mosquito net for him. I think I slept better!!

Tys had an early surf and was back to take ...
