Me and Mum went to a couple of temples and a rice field. Goa Lawh means 'Bat Cave' and it is located along the coast of southeastern Bali just west of Candidasa. Founded in 1007 AD, the temple is built around a cave filled with thousands of bats, and is one of the directional temples protecting Bali from evils spirits from the SE. In all the …
When I finally arrived at the airport I could barely contain my excitement at the thought of seeing my family. I was almost bouncing up and down waiting for my luggage to come through, so I could run to the arrivals were my family would be waiting for me.
When I got to arrivals, finding my family was going to be harder than what I thought …
Me, Dan and Lewis have decided to go over to one of the Gili Islands. There are three Gili Islands off Lombock and they are about an hour from Padangbai by fastboat. We are going to Gili Trawangan, which is more of a party island, Gili Nemo is like a holiday island and Gili Air is like a honeymoon, relaxing island.

It's the Wedding ceremony today and I'm really looking forward to it. In Bali, nothing ever runs to time and everyone is way chilled almost horizontal! There was only one coach booked to pick us up and take us to the venue but they ended up needing two more, as more people turned up for the lift!

It is a typical Indonesian hotel not like an English hotel. Our villa was lovely although there could have been more wardrobe spare for the 4 of us. The staff are very helpful and more than happy to assist with anything. There are 3 reasonably large pools for all the villas to use. Breakfast is served every morning but don't get there when it's nearly finishing as there isn't a lot of food left.
