      ... and the lights reflecting on the lake were really pretty. There was a narrow metal dock leading from the shore to open water that we investigated for a bit.       Up in the North of Italy, Lake Como offered a much needed retreat from the frenetic, espresso-and-scooter-driven chaos of Rome.       Today is our last day here before we head to Siena. Today we took a bus down to the town of Amalfi. We did some shopping and went to the beach. The ride there was a little crazy as the roads are so narrow and windy around the cliff and buses try to drive pass each other with motorcyclist squeezing between.
