Nothing fancy but clean, old style hotel right on the banks of Lake Como (or Lake Lecco if you are a local). Very well located on the banks of the lake opposite the city, with views over the city. Close to a number of restaurants and within walking distance of the city centre.

Our first stop was the pretty town of Bellagio where we took a car ferry to cross the lake to the town of Menaggio. ...
... the hill. Unfortunately visibility even worse today so after the effort of making our way up the hill we could not even see the water. Great villa's though.
Fast boat back, ferry home and we enter our warm apartment at approx 7pm, in time to cook dinner.
Como, well it is not what we expected, much more suburban. However, glad we came to experience and see how those with lots of money actually holiday.
Moving on to Turin tomorrow, stay ...

I went to breakfast after a shower which made me feel slightly more awake, and went to breakfast. I was not very hungry but I ate a roll, my usual banana and that was it. Katie joined me around 9.30am. As Steph wasn't up to much today, I said Katie could do some more ...
