Nothing fancy but clean, old style hotel right on the banks of Lake Como (or Lake Lecco if you are a local). Very well located on the banks of the lake opposite the city, with views over the city. Close to a number of restaurants and within walking distance of the city centre.

It's up 2 flights of stairs. No lift! Greta and I struggled up with my suitcase. I don't know what will happen in Paris. I think it's 8 floors up and no lift. ****! Anyway, got organised with info etc. The Internet is a bit hit and miss. Then went out to ...

We are also big on Easter eggs here, although they look different than the ones in NZ. Many seem to have a less rounded shape, are wrapped in a different foil than NZ ones and often have a ...
We woke and went straight to breakfast at the Hotel Adele...I was still half asleep. Back to the room where we packed for our train ride to Milan and headed out. We walked the 1 km to the train station, which seemed long until we got to Milan. :-) The train was a fun experience, not many passengers and very comfortable. It was a nice chance to see the northern Italian countryside go by as ...
