    Since leaving Basel two days ago the scenery on our trip has changed quite markedly. No more following voie vertes beside pretty waterways with barges and swans. Our trip out of Basel seemed to go endlessly through suburban and industrial areas, around roadworks with unsigned detours and on a foggy morning, was quite uninspiring.

    ... are so powerful and mesmerizing that we stayed there and watched from up close for a few minutes, feeling like we were on a flying carpet over water or something.     ... terrace has a great view across the city, yet is located in rural farmland. Our meal on the balcony is accompanied by the various chiming bells of the local farmer's herd of sheep, which graze just below where we are seated.     At some point in the future, these young warriors are going to want to know who this mysterious giant of a man was who had these wonderfully golden medallions. So, it is up to the young men to team up together to fix together each piece of the medallion to create an image.
