    ... We have not tried the waffles yet since we have been so full after the meals. The shops are everywhere and the smell is amazing. Maybe Monday.

    ... town and lots of fun dodging cars, horses and tourists who walk on the road! By the time our hour was up all the tourists had gotten out of bed and it was very busy.     ... Australian couple had the name of a relative killed in WW1. She had only recently discovered that her great uncle had died in battle 4 months before armistice at the age of 19 and she had tracked down the cemetery where he was buried. Each cemetery has a book of all the plots and Nathan located the exact plot for her. This was again the advantage of this small tour
    as she had requested this stop prior to the tour. It was the second largest Commonwealth cemetery ...

    Na de selectie kunnen 36 boeken blijven, 62 vliegen de deur uit. Enkele dingen die ik opmerkte:
    * Voor elk boek van een Vlaming heb ik er tien van een Nederlander. De donkere and sinistere klank van veel Vlaamse boeken heeft me dan toch nooit echt kunnen bekoren.
    * Zoveel koffietafel boeken ("kunst"). Waar zat ik met m'n hoofd? Ging ik soms indruk maken op iemand met hun gewicht en omvang?
    * De selectie die blijft gaat over vroege jaren ...
