Nog drie dagen fysiek aanwezig in België. Morgen de laatste spulletjes kopen en dan kan de rugzak dicht gezipt worden. Maandag vertrekken we rond 7 uur richting luchthaven. 5 uur, plaatselijke tijd in België, landen we in Los Angels. Daar zou het dan 20 uur ...

Heb dan wel even serieus aan de bel getrokken want hier zo tot 15/01/2012 vast te zitten terwijl mijn contract begint op 1/1/2012 lijkt me geen goede start.
Allez door hier en daar wat smeermiddel uit te delen of kweenie hoe is dan een paar dagen later mijn visa ineens klaar. Ja ok, mag ik dan nu eindelijk die vlucht boeken? Gelukkig nog wel een plaatske vrij op de vlieger.

Even while it's pretty busy right now, I'll be heading to one of my best friends. A week in Bretagne, France. Hopefully with good surfing waves!
At the same time, it will be the ol' Honda's Last Great Trip (Pour ol' civic will need to find a new boss soon :) )

Dear readers
Let me ask you a question. Before you leave on a mind-blowing trip around the globe, have you seen what's there to see right under your nose?
These last two years, while preparing the long trip, I took every occasion to see something in Brussels. Here's a list of places well worth visiting in the Belgian capital. Knowing that many of these places don't have their peers anywhere.

... by both stores and pick up some goodies. Kevin and I split a bottle of Absolut vodka on the plane and munched on chocolate waffles, laughing about the good times we had so far in Europe before being in each other's company.
For now, it was time to get back on a plane and head to Nice, France. I remember thinking how weird it was that a lady had her dog on the seat with her. We flew over beautiful views of the mountains of Northern France.
