    ... through the christmas markets of course and tried our first mulled wine- it was really nice but you can't drink a lot of it! We walked up in and around the town To see the usual town hall etc. checked out the mannequin de pis- it wasn't as big as I thought it was (the actual mannequin that is haha)! I was expecting it to be a huge sculpture! Then into try our first Belgian frites- fries... They are meant to be special in belgium ...

    ... the king resides are numerous museums each designed for the area it represents. There is a large Pagoda as well as a building in a Chinese style.

    First stop on the bus was the Antomium - built for the 1958 worlds fair. We did not get to go in, but hope to go back on Friday. It is a very impressive structure and looks like, well a giant atom. We saw someone cleaning the outside - very high up. ...

    ... big crowd surrounding us. We Can honestly walk away knowing we couldn't of done things any better and made every moment count! As the paper says, "after the festival, the love and joy will remain, as you take your memories home forever". We have kept all the little bits and pieces collected from the festival, like food&a drink tokens, booze bags, special messages, the daily papers, etc.. And many many photos and video clips to create our own memories to treasure ...
