    ... Victoria Cross recipients at the site.

    Next stop was the incredibly muddy site of Polygon wood, a site which passed hands between the Germans and Allies. It was the site of an old Belgian military post. It was a site on a ridge which has a commanding area of the sites around. On the site there was evidence of tunnelling and fortified positions used by the Germans in 1916.

    ... big crowd surrounding us. We Can honestly walk away knowing we couldn't of done things any better and made every moment count! As the paper says, "after the festival, the love and joy will remain, as you take your memories home forever". We have kept all the little bits and pieces collected from the festival, like food&a drink tokens, booze bags, special messages, the daily papers, etc.. And many many photos and video clips to create our own memories to treasure ...

    Onto a British-Commonwealth cemetery called Tyne-Cot. This is the type of cemetery you see in the pictures with rows upon rows of headstones (crosses we're generally used for the French). There was a small museum here and a recording running inside and out that continually announces the names and ages (if known) of all buried there. Kind of eerie listening to the names go on forever.
    As well as these large cemeteries, there were many smaller ones ...

    ... aandacht, en je concentreert je niet meer op de essentie.

    Mijn videospelletjescollectie is al van +- 40 titels naar.. 2! teruggegaan. Kan ik even drastisch zijn met de rest? Welke herinneringen zullen boven komen tijdens het opruimen?
