It's my birthday! :)

A travel blog entry by mattyjordan on Oct 17, 2014

We were hungover so I spent my birthday morning lying on the couch watching TV and napping. Not that I was upset about it, I could hardly move anyway. Thanks for showing me how Brazilians party Bruno. Unforgettable night.

I popped a panadol before we cooked some dinner and started drinking again. Tonight was the real birthday party! Bruno was too hungover to move so he decided not to come out. I forgave him, I understand.

... Pierre Luigi Colina's eyes. Weird.

The museum is located in the municipal stadium fronted by the Praca (Park) Charles Wallace. He was the spiffing chap who had the good sense to bring the game of football from Blighty to Brazil. It may once have been a park with grass and trees in days gone bye but it's very much a tarmac car park now although still a meeting place for people to socialise. ... of the major sites recommended by our new friends. A more unique (non park or church) stops was a giant market filled with every kind of fruit imaginable, as well as some alien looking ones I had never seen or heard of. Lots of free samples to be had. We also stopped by a small neighborhood known for its street art. Literally every inch of wall space here was taken up with elaborate images and the more typical hard to read graffiti style writing.

Gold On The Ceiling

... to my neighborhood and a little pizza parlor for dinner. It was about 10 and I have some traveling to do tomorrow so I decided to give up on Sao Paulo. As I passed the nice hotel next to mine, noticed a crowd of women standing at the gate talking to some guy, Here, it was the lead singer for the Black Keys. They just played Lollapolooza. He seemed pretty engaging given how big they are now. Must be the Ohio in him.
