    Now there's really not too much to say about caves. Good pictures are difficult to capture, especially when flash photography is banned and you don't have stuff like wide-angle lenses and The like.
    Once you've used up words like awesome, astounding and majestic then you're left with anthropomorphising a bunch of rocks.

    ... The winding road up to the fortress has 14 separate defensive gates with drawbridges across deep canyons, portcullises and artfully constructed firing angles covering every possible approach. Nobody was getting in here.

    ... finish packing up Svenice before we drove Tim to the airport. We dropped him off and said our arrivederci's and it all became too much for sensitive soul Ruby who was most distraught. She cried for about 10 minutes as we drove but eventually she got over it only to have a bit of a relapse further on. We had a few issues on our drive today the first of which was being unable to get on the motorway in the direction we wanted to go. ...

    ... houses are adorned with flowers. It is very green and lots of hills and mountains.
    Our first stop was Skojcan caves.
    We just missed the 10am tour by about 2 minutes thanks partly to our GPS and had to wait till 11am. The cave was amazing- not for the decorations which were pretty but for the vastness of the chambers. The final chamber was 162 metres in height.     ... and then to top it off the guy wore his kayaking helmet during the entire drive to the putting in point. The distance in inches between his ears was obviously far greater than his IQ. This was confirmed when he asked "Am I going to get wet?". No mate you're going kayaking and it's a totally dry sport!!! Spare me. I reckon passport control has a lot to answer for, both outbound from the States and at the local port of entry.
