So we are sitting on a train to Munich (via Frankfurt) as we begin to make our way down to Croatia. Which gives me some time to tap away at the keyboard and reflect on the past few days since we left Paris.

... was no escaping the madness! We stopped off briefly at the market place where we could see the belfry and the post office (with a million people around) and then it was quickly back to the canal to go on a boat ride.
Once we were on the boat it was nice to relax and see the buildings without the hustle and bustle. Some of the bridges were low enough to touch and it was good to see a different side of the city. We got a close 17kms to the North Sea ...
... we walked through deserted cobbled streets and back alleyways and eventually found the market place. It is half day closing on a Thursday ? Is there an outbreak of some deadly disease that has cleared the streets ?
Due to inclement weather we decided to go on a bus city tour, 50 minutes of warmth, this is when the snow started.... I am glad we were on here.. Brugge is a beautiful place especially with the snow !!!

After our food arrived, Grumpy Waiter told us we had 20 minutes to eat our food as the table he had moved us to was reserved. Luckily for us the people who reserved it were a very nice swiss/czech family who didn't mind sharing their table with us.
The band were fantastic, an authentic eastern european gypsy band. Apparently Czesky Krumlov is one of the few places in the czech republic where gypsies like them are welcomed ...
