We woke up around 11:00am to the increasing heat of the tent, screaming children and the songs of birds. We had a nice breakfast on our usual cliff edge, set up our mats and relaxed to the sound of birds and the fresh wind on our backs. Fun fact about the Spanish Canary Islands. They are closer to Africa than they are to Spain. One of the Islands is also the birth place of that language composed seulement of whistling! Very Very cool!

Burger King at the airport - yes to a Whopper! Then aboard our flight. Had great sunset views with the volcano: El Teide sillhouetted against the back drop and the clouds falling away beneath us. A perfect end to a perfect trip. Our first together, but hopefully not our last.
