    Well it was an early morning rise for a number of us today, those who were eager to see the ship go through the first of the 68 locks we are to pass through.     ... She wanted to prove to us that it was in Bratislava instead of Prague. Everyone seems to think it was in Prague because Czech Republic were trying to get out of the Soviet Union and the same time and the Slovakians.     ... starting, so we headed back positioning ourselves nicely at a protected cafe, just as the thunderstorms and rain began.     ... but if you know me at all, you know that is two of my least favorites! I also had Kofola…yeah, I love it now! The restaurant we went to was quite interesting, in that, you have three meals set out and you pick which one you want. I thought it was nice because you can see exactly what you are getting before you decide.

    We pre-booked our tickets from Budapest to Bratislava and made sure we had set seat numbers after the troubles with Austrian train seats. The lady was adamant we wouldn't need them but we insisted just to be sure. Train was pretty much empty until about 2/3 of the way through when we got into Slovakia and more people were getting on but we weren't going to risk it.
