Pretty sure we will recover from this setback. After dinner traditional Slovac performers came aboard to entertain us. They were excellent - especially the dulcimer and fiddle players. A great ending to the day. Later tonight, hopefully we'll be asleep, the ship sets sail for Vienna - about 50 miles ...
The driver was there to meet us and took us near our hotel. The hotel is situated in a pedestrian area of the old town so we rolled our suitcases two short blocks over cobblestones to get there. The room here is beautiful with a sitting room, nice big bedroom, free breakfast and a window looking out over the action.

We also got to stop by Primate's Palace, where the Mayor has his office. The courtyard is very elegant, and the building was built in 1778, giving it a great neoclassical look. If a certain window is open on the front of the building, that means the Mayor is in.
