After this I actually sat in McDonalds for 10-15 mins with a warm drink to warm up as it was -3 and snowing. I was also early for the bus to pick us up.
After Bratislava we drove to a service stop not far from Budapest for lunch. On the way into Budapest Kez gave us some information about Budapest and Hungary.

"Apparently" today's temperature in Bratislava was 0'c. Strangely enough, for me this felt like the coldest day in Europe to date. Had to get changed to the waterproof coat, only to get soaked again (it was raining as well). There were colder days in Budapest, ranging from -3 to -0 degrees. Yet the cold didn't feel as brutal as it did today.
