      I would add something, though. Surely you could save yourself much time by merely skimming a few chapters of, say, Pickwick Papers -- but you would also forgo most of the pleasure.

      ... to see such an ugly show, with sensuality and
      disgusting moves and themes. After 15 minutes of suffering we disturbed the
      cheering crowd by taking our leave. These Europeans love that kind of stuff and
      got all crazy with the dancers’ sensual movements and message of sexuality, but
      we were embarrassed and couldn’t bear it.

      There are no real good movies (unless you are ready to pay a
      lot of money), so our entertainment is very limited.
