With all these tourists I'm surprised Venice hasn't sunk. This place is not for the faint of legs or arms or for moms with strollers. Lots and lots of stairs. I have found another job that wouldn't suit me...delivery man in Venice. Strollers and carts all have very sturdy wheels, a must for Venice. We started our day with a walk to St Marco square. Don't think we made any mistakes and there weren't really ...

A few couples sitting nearby were obviously also from Australia. Off to bed and reading and sleep around ...

The driver was very helpful telling me where to get off and additionally giving me brief directions to my hostel. I could barely understand him but I understood his hand gestures. Once off the bus I was sooo overwhelmed. I couldn't quite make sense of where I was or of my map on my phone. And I had no 3G so I couldn't use ...

... with the use of the map we begrudgingly bought we arrived. It was beautiful, the sun was setting and the clouds looked great. We sat and listened to the bands play, violin and some great Italian singing. Then it was time to find a loo! But no, all the public loos close at 7pm. It was 7.30. So we had to buy a beer so I could use the loo... Clever marketing I guess. It took us a while to get back to the bus station, venice is literally a maze and all ...
