The second of the three days of the fête. Today is centred on the Bassin where there will be raft races jousting on the water and other sights. ... pump to pump up water. There was no way a pipe could be attached. Having praised the system, I do need to clean the contacts so that the pump works every time. So we dumped grey and black water, filled up with fresh and decided to go back to Fanjeaux where we knew there was shade. All we had to hope was that there would be space as it is a small aire. ... that's interesting as the little mite wiggles around which makes my bike ride like a drunk. Anyway lots of laughs. We left Castelnaudary today and are now docked near the port of Bram and tomorrow off to Carcassonne. Bram is like a ghost town but the butcher lady was lovely. ... funny watching it take off. Apparently called a Beluga Airbus as it looks like the whale. The front or tail section swing around for loading.

Well I am off to have a cool drink before we board our flight to Singapore (may even make it a g&t). We are really looking forward to arriving home. We have had a wonderful time over the past 5 weeks but we are ready to get home.
