All good things come to an end
... funny watching it take off. Apparently called a Beluga Airbus as it looks like the whale. The front or tail section swing around for loading.
Well I am off to have a cool drink before we board our flight to Singapore (may even make it a g&t). We are really looking forward to arriving home. We have had a wonderful time over the past 5 weeks but we are ready to get home.

The time has come
Our time away has nearly come to an end.
This morning we travel to airport, return the little car, (with an extra 1300ks on it) and catch the flight to Frankfurt to catch the flying kangaroo to Singapore - I still have about 4kgs of luggage allowance which I am sure I can fill in Singapore!!

Happy wanderings
Our time in France is quickly coming to a close. Tomorrow we will be driving back to Toulouse to return the car before flying out to Singapore for a rest stop.
What a wonderful area we are in. This morning the sun rise was spectacular - streaky colours of red and orange across the sky - wonder if it means weather!!
Yesterday we meandered about - only got misplaced once but what a road we end up on. It was only as wide as our car, twisting and turn back ...

... The autumn colours were stunning. We wound our way alongside the river and passed under limestone overhangs. Great day.
Wednesday a shorter day only travelled 250k's. We visited the old town of Mirpoix, Carcassonne, Villeneue La Comptal and Limox. All great places to visit. We were particularly taken with Mirpoix. The old homes were build out over the roads. Puppa usually suggests we stop ...
Foix
This morning we stayed around the square in Mirepoix, looking once more around the lovely shops, having coffee, croissants and icecream. We drove to Foix for lunch, which was about 30 minutes away. The markets in the main town square were packing up for the day. We had a quick look around the few remaining stalls, but there was nothing of interest to us.
