... funny watching it take off. Apparently called a Beluga Airbus as it looks like the whale. The front or tail section swing around for loading.

Well I am off to have a cool drink before we board our flight to Singapore (may even make it a g&t). We are really looking forward to arriving home. We have had a wonderful time over the past 5 weeks but we are ready to get home.

... aim is to reach Carcassonne and back again in the week which should be reasonable travelling.
Meanwhile we are enjoying this little campsite, I saw a Hoopee yesterday so we are going for a walk today to see what else we can see along the riverside.
There are many wildflowers on the campsite, blue cornflowers and other shades; cosmos brightly coloured; poppies and marigolds growing amogst the wild grasses; it's so pretty.

... vineyards (which was cut short when I realised that I wasn't quite as well as I'd thought ;) I returned to my chair and my Kindle until Maureen served up the next treat for lunch and before I knew it an aperitif and canapés were put in front of me and a dinner of confit of duck was being served!

By 2200h I was tucked up in bed listening to the rain pounding on the windows and the wind howling in the trees, but before long I was sound asleep.
