We had a big day today. We set off about eight on the train to Fukushima. We planed to catch the Shinkansen from there to Sendai. Sadly the Shinkansen service was suspended, due to an incident, so we had to catch the slow train. That took about an hour and a quarter. We also drove along the edge of the 3rd largest lake in Japan, Lake Inawashiro. On our return to Nihonmatsu we checked into our Ryokan where we we reunited with the luggage we shipped from Narita.
