      The sky is overcast but we have a full day of exploring to get through. From our hotel it is just a 20 minute walk on the same road to reach the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia, by Antonio Gaudi.
      It is one of Gaudí's most famous works in Barcelona, and is a giant Basilica that has been under construction since 1882, and is not expected to be completed for up to a further 80 years.

      After the field trip, I preceded to take the Metro home and switch lines, all by myself (I am still so proud of myself). I went home and had dinner with my family.       ... highlight for me was a stop at Camp Nou, the home of Barcelona Football Club (FCB). I spent about two hours at the stadium, savouring the atmosphere of this great club whose motto is "More than a club". The tour included visits to the dressing rooms, directors’ box, press box, pitch and an incredible multi-media display highlighting all of the club’s many achievements.
