We got into Bucharest on Tuesday about 1:30 pm. We were taken to a Ramada Inn about 10 minutes from downtown . It is a very nice Modern American style hotel. Those of you who know me as a teacher will be happy to know that I have not lost the the ability to give "the look". Two little boys were bopping one another on the head with their pencils and I gave them my best "please stop that look" and they did!

We left the guesthouse this morning with a tub full of home grown tomatoes, peppers, chillis and raspberries, which was lovely (chilli for dinner tonight!) We crossed into Romania over the Danube on what was a very suspect barge thing, lucky the river wasn't very wide so we weren't on it for long! We had decided to give Bucharest a miss but traveled towards there to camp for the night. A pretty uneventful day, just driving really. Again no pics...
