... is just off the East side of Cap Corse (the cape of Corsica). G/T at sunset off the isle of Corsica was lovely. I do so love this isle. It is hard to get to, and hard to leave at certain times if the year. This is my last anchorage on Milena this year. Our 16 hour trip to Cannes is tomorrow, and I am just praying that all the weather we have heard is correct..... We should encounter very little wind, and it should be a beautiful ...

On the way to Calvi we are stopped on the road by French Customs. They wanted to see our "papers" - really, I thought that only happened in the movies. ... tour. We boarded the tender out in the bay then a 5-10min ride into St Florent. We boarded a bus and drove around and up into the hills (highest is 2500 meters) with lots of curves and great views of the sea and other islands.

We ended up wine tasting at a small Patriamo winery. They had white, rose, red and Muscato along with a Myrtle liquor and an Ambrose (strawberry tree) liquir most weren't that good and I ...

... you.... but I know I need a glass of wine right not." Marina said eagerly.opening of nice"red rooster on the label" bottle of Cabernet. "I couldn't agree with you more!" I chimed in. "umfffffff..." was Jacques' agreement from the galley. For the rest of what ended up being an early evening, we ate, drank and laughed, protected in pocket of Milena, with the screeching/howling/whistling winds above. Grand marniers with greek coffees ended yet another day on the lovely Lady ...
