We all slowly fell in love with Slovenia, camping in the pine trees, swimming in the lake and chilling amongst the mountains. The campsite was full of Dutch teenagers making the most of the activities on offer on the raging river running past the campsite. A great couple of nights enjoying the surroundings, even with some traditional Slovenian music thrown in as we ate dinner on the last ...

Austrian Alps

We woke from our kind of sleep to stunning views from the windows as the train neared Villach and the Austrian Alps. We had realised that we were close to the Rosental valley, so decided that we should have a quick explore before finding a campsite with the aim of finding some tacky Rosental souvenir. At the top of Vogel, we took a ton of pictures of the stunning mountains ...

After lots of fun day trips to Cape Cod and plenty of Maine lobster, I was on my way to Sacramento, again meeting up with friends here and in San Francisco. I also plan a quick trip to Los Angeles to catch ...

Just Like a Fairytale

... at the bottom, we continued our walk around the lake until we reached a lookout point we were aiming to find. Tom had explained that there are two paths we could take to get to this lookout point and that one was about 25 minutes up a really steep hill with fallen trees due to a recent heavy rainstorm and the other path being about 45 minutes going around the mountain to get to the top. We were trying to find the latter of the two, but it was obvious quite early ...
