    Today we left Vienna very early to travel through the rich farmlands of eastern Austria past lakes and mountains.     ... s bloody hard yakka driving in those conditions - you certainly need your wits about you, which is probably why I found it difficult....
    Cold and very wet here, and snow on the mountains around us, so I think we will press on tomorrow, and try to get further south and away from this weather, and also the daunting prospect of the commencement of school holiday traffic tomorrow afternoon....and no bloody trains....
