Another day forecasted for torrential rain, but this time we were gifted with the pleasant surprise of light rain in the morning followed by a very clear afternoon. This morning, we moved from a hostel in Interlaken to a hostel further in the hills in Lauterbrunnen. Which is in the same region however it's just further into the mountains sitting around 800 meters above sea level. The region was absolute beautiful, two high ledges either side and ...

... buy the glasses the clouds engulfed us and you could see nothing. Luckily they move in and out quickly so the view had returned by the time we reached the open air platform. ... can see the whole town. It's pretty nice. To get up there though you have to go through some tunnels. Damn these Swiss like to dig through rock! I mentioned before the 16km tunnel through a mountain, this is a lot smaller but it just seams like they do it coz they can.

Pastry again at the campsite. This place has a Contiki chateau that has an old cellar that is now the "bomb shelter" bar. Tonight's party was the Swissco-Disco, come ...

The village is old with some buildings/houses being from the mid 1600s. We arrived at midnight on Sunday. An old man preaching about God to all led us and a group of Asians and to our hotels. We entered our room unable to see nothing more than a street lamp reflecting off a pool of water. When I woke up the next morning, I saw a swift stream/river right outside at the base of a beautiful forested mountain. We had a balcony so I sat at our ...
