On 9/27 we walked from Sent to Scuol in a little over an hour, then took a gondola to have lunch in a mountain restaurant.     ... but all we found was an isolated dwelling where we could buy cheese and hot tea. We ended up hiking a loop back to Ardez, then taking the train to Scuol. It was an interesting day with 7 hours on the trail. On 9/24 we took two buses to Tschlin then hiked to Vna.     On 9/21 we traveled from Murren in the Bernese Overland to Zernez in the Lower Engedine region. It involved cog railway and gondola to Lauterbrunnen then train to Interlaken, Bern, Zurich and Landquart before reaching Zernez.
