So this is how we spent the early evening and the night, hunkered down, trying to stay warm, trying to stay dry, trying to sleep. Our first stay at Antigua gave us an opportunity to do some tourist activities. We went on a city tour that wasn't well attended, as we were the only two on the tour. The guide was outstanding and we visited plenty cathedrals, view points and some nice coffee spots. It was by far the best city tour we have been on to date - in fairness, it's not hard to beat ...

Every location we have come across is always busy, but the lineups in Antigua today were out of hand and poured out into the streets, since it was the start of Guatemala's massive Holy Week celebrations and Antigua was bursting with people.
