    ... ships came in. It was nice to get out and see some of the neighborhood as the shops were just starting to open up with the cool air and morning breeze.

    The highlight of the day was grabbing lunch at Le Chef and going to see the parrots that Bill & Lisa knew of.     I arrived by plane to Cancun and then took the bus to playa del Carmen. Playa del Carmen was very busy and the beach absolutely packed full. I stayed with a Mexican family for the week who were nice but spoke next to no English so communication was difficult to say the least.
