    I took two small trips out of Playa. I went to see the ruins in Tulum, an old Mayan port city. I have to say, apart from the beautiful beach, the ruins were a bit over rated, they were nice, but architecturally I guess I have been spoiled with so many awesome sites. The other nearby town I went to was Akumal, now this was an amazing find. ...
