The location was really good, away from the highly tourist parts and when walking to the beach there was plenty of small bars and local eateries to satisfy. The room was quaint, had two single beds (that’s all that was available), an air conditioner that sounded like it had a V8 motor and a trickle for a shower. Overall it was a nice stay but we paid too much and there was nothing we could do about it.

... yourselves even while chilling in your room thanks to the room service (24 hours, free). In the end each room is furnished with a minibar, the content of which is at your free disposal.
Rule no. 3: You are never bored in PYP!

Finally arrived in mexico, flight delayed, bags took ages, customs picked me out to search, finally picked up rental car 6 hours late and it was dark....eek.....driving in mexico in the dark....OMG...we shouldn't be doing this.....bugger let's stay in hotel near airport and lose the first night in tulum. Apparently this coast in Mexico has some of the best diving spots in the world, and many people just come to Cozumel to dive, and from the little bit I saw just from snorkling, you can see why. The second dive is at cenote Kukulkan and the difference here is the abundance of stalactites/mites .. they’re affixed to cavern ceilings and floors and rocks angled at all degrees. It’s like swimming through the jaws of Tyrannosaurus. We surface mid-dive to a tightly enclosed cavern that’s fed air by a few natural ventilation shafts. ...
