... Restaurant am Fluss wieder einzufinden. So viel gibt es also aus Melaka gar nicht zu berichten, außer, dass es ein Besuch auf jeden Fall wert ist!!
Gegen 16 Uhr nahmen wir dann wieder das Taxi zur Bushaltestelle für die 2-stündige Busfahrt nach Kuala Lumpur, die erstaunlicherweise auch nur 2,50€ gekostet hat.

A weekend in Malacca
... seemed hugely competitive in the way that they decorated their rickshaws to attract customers. Most rickshaws were covered in brightly coloured plastic flowers and flags, many had a music system fitted and at night we discovered that they were also rigged out with flashing lights!

... stage for the entertainment - this included a hillarious group of young lads doing some type of hip hop dance, It all looked a bit ridiculous, but sure whatever floats your boat. Next up was a group of young one's (13/14 years old) who were dressed and danced like strippers in training. Anyway, we headed up to chinatown for the night markets. These were by far the best we've seen so far, alot more civilised than what we've been used to. Loads of nik nak things ...

We zijn nu 2 dagen in Melaka, aan de westkust weer. Dit is een heel erg toeristisch dorpje met Nederlandse voorgeschiedenis. Er is een hollands plein (met windmolen), een stadthuys en een begraafplaats met nederlandse graven. The perfect dinner date
After a 5 hour bus journey over the border into Malaysia I arrived in Melaka. It was a quiet town, didn't seem to be a lot going on. The owner of the hostel I stayed in was a Malaysian guy called Howard who was really pleasant.
