... expensive ones have white ballon awnings inflated over their refits. The El belaud contemporary art gallery provides a few gems; Picasso decorated ceramics including a big rude vase and a perfectly proportioned owl, made from thrown components. I loved the 'herring heads' by Barcelo. A giant 8'x6' canvas with raised patches of canvas which create the conical heads perfectly. Painted with loose mucky paint the glistening blue heads comically. Gazed up ...

During the night the ship changed course for Mallorca in order to carry out a medical evacuation of a passenger. No word just rumours of the condition of the passenger evacuated. A nice day but a bit blowy so deck quoits and shuffleboard comps were cancelled since they take place on the top deck of Adonia. Therefore we spent a relaxing day around the ship. ... a couple of hours wandering the streets. it is a very beautiful and clean city with lovely narrow lanes and nice shops. On our way back to the shuttle we stopped at a street side restaurant and enjoyed A glass of sangria while checking the wifi. The shops here suggest a well to do clientele and that is supported by the number and quality of the pleasure craft in the Marina. The Cathedral looked a magnificent site but unfortunately we did not have time to visit. ...

      ... and incredible light. We
stayed in Cala San Vincenc, on the north side near the wonderful town of Pollensa (highly recommended). We lucked out with two beautiful warm days and one day of significant rain (Sunday). We explored Formentor – the stunning drive to the beach and lighthouse, the beautiful bay – swimming, paddleboarding, indulging in a beachside Italian lunch. We hiked one of the hundreds of amazing stone paths out ...
