... Of course, no place is looking its best under grey skies and rain, but we struggled to see Floripa's downtown area looking particularly attractive, even in blazing sunshine and blue skies. ... dog called Joaquina :-) Here they had an amazing breakfast with lots of fresh tropical fruit. Long gone is the carb heavy, no fruit and veg Argentina. We booked a 4 bed dorm and to our surprise we had the whole place to ourselves the whole time!! We even had a nice balcony overlooking the lake.

... cloudy but still beautiful. I spent the entire day taking care of some little things for when I get to South Africa. Lots of reading and lounging around. Not a bad day at all. On day 3 I knew I needed to do something active. I signed up for 2 bike tours around the island and ya it was amazing. I was riding a bike for about 8 hours up and down hills all over the island. Our first arvo we headed down to a beach bar to watch the sunset and then walked around the little town to check it out. Our hostel owner Jose said that fishing was good from the front of the hostel so we got out our rod and did a spot of fishing. Definitely didn't catch dinner in this case we didn't catch anything.
