I could only get five hours sleep as I had to get up for my surf lesson. I was there at 11 and ready to get going. The two workers at the surf school drove me to the beginners beach where I met the instructor. We were a group of 4 with two instructors. ... a paddling pool. We considered putting a couple of turtles under our arms to rescue them from a lifetime of boredom, but didnīt want to get our clothes wet. Before leaving what would be our last beach resort, we decided we couldnīt possibly leave without purchasing traditional Brazilian dress : a tiny bikini. Although we werenīt immeditaely transformed into Brazilianīs, we were pleased nonetheless and set off on our merry way - two happy gringas!
