A day of cold and hot
... on as well as my one piece rainsuit but took the rainsuit off to go on the cableway. Big question now was do I keep it off or do I want it back on to keep the heat in???
I decided to leave it off and headed up the pass. The temp had risen slightly now and the road was totally dry making it much safer for me to ride on.

Back to civilization
... it had. we didn't had a street number for this place and our GPS wanted us to be stuck, so we sat and pondered. couldn't find Sant Ambrogio let alone the Saponara. What we didn't know is that we came in from the wrong side. After playing with the GPS, we got unstuck, and found it, but no one was there. We weren't expected until three, so we left and went on down into town to see the lay of the land. There, we found a cute little ...
No marmite, just rain
Given that the roads around the Northern part of Lake Garda were closed to accommodate the marathon, we didn't find it at all difficult to navigate our way on foot, around to the harbour of Torbole, which is approx 3 km's to the East of Riva del Garda where we were walking yesterday.
The cycle route is clearly marked around round the lake, and can be a little treacherous on blind bends if you choose to head out to the Ponale Hydroelectric power plant which can be found ...
Otzi the Iceman
... we had our worst experience yet with dinner. Ordered a pizza, salami something. Went all the way back to our hotel, opened up the box...and it was anchovies. We tried to eat it, but it fishy beyond fishy! Threw it in the bin and went out a second time to get kebabs. Much better option! Tip for life: always check the goods before leaving the store.
