      ... that there is a national day of mourning in France today for those that were killed in a terrorist attack in Paris. Twelve people were killed. A policeman also was shot in a different village. Very sad. The news tonight was very focussed on it.

      Back in the apartment, Daddy took Brody and Marni back to the pool again and into the steam room. I started to get us ready for our flight home tomorrow and made our own vin chaud.

      ... over and turned the magic carpet on, it was great area to practice with Marni. Matt was helping her down the slope, she was doing well traversing but not a snow plough in site and she was quite determined that she wasn't going to do that. We discussed it and nope no slow plough for Marni....we thought well she never crawled, just walked, so maybe that would be the same for skiing! I thought I'd give it a go, skiing down with her holding onto ...

      ... tired today so I took her down and back to the apartment about 2:30. I had to carry her so the 15min walk took me over 45 mins! It is really hard in the ski clothes as she is so slippery, plus the boots and helmets make her super heavy, and then she was like a big lump because she was so tired. Anyway, we had a lovely time just the two of us, she had a bath and some dinner and by 4:30 was ready for bed.

      ... end of the lake. A very rainy start to the day steadily cleared. As usual negotiating through a succession of tiny French villages, on roads that are always too narrow, makes driving 'interesting'... Our Tom Tom GPS has made a big difference - but still whoever is not driving, is often acting as a navigator too. Often, but not always, their helpful advice is gracefully acknowledged by the driver... ...
