Train one hour out to varenna on lake como. Weather fine again, lake is clear n blue. Varenna is small village across from Bellagio. Very cute on hill side, ferry takes you across to other villages. We are staying at a hotel in the village square, bell chimes from 7am till 7pm we think, or hope, saw mellagio village on other side of lake today, it is a beautiful town, buildings ...
A visit to the Western side of Lake Como

Birthday celebrations in the mountains
Morning was cloudy and cool - about 4°. We went to breakfast at Muellers as it was Fides' birthday today. Great spread to start the day. Rang Omi and she also spoke with Fides and Andrea. She was pleased to hear we were having a great time with family.
