... OMG! This is such an impossibly beautiful place. There is a photo op every second. The lake is gorgeous and the mountains are behind it. I'm so glad I came up here. I've pretty much been everywhere in Italy now that I wanted to go. For dinner I had sliced chicken fillet with a Parmesan cheese sauce with a "hint" of truffle and vegies plus the obligatory wine! I couldn't taste the truffle but it was so nice to have some decent meat. Very nice restaurant ...
Tuesday is that day that Bar Sport is closed, so we weren't able to have our obligatory coffee there. Instead we made our way to the ferry terminal and headed for the village of Menaggio (that's MENAGGIO, MENAGGIO for Paul). We wandered throughout the lakeside park and town square for a few hours before jumping on the ferry again and headed for Varenna.

Daylight savings began today and Sue happened to put her clock forward 2 hours and had everything packed by 6am before realising that it was very quiet outside.
