... and out over time. We went for a walk into the forest which took about 3 hours looking at the various rocks which are said to look like certain things. It was quite cool to think we were actually walking on the ocean floor, and we were reminded of this as the path we walked along was covered in sand. We had fun trying to spot the formations in the rocks! Towards the end there was 300 steps we could walk up ...

They were also incredibly slippery on the ice and I continued to fall over for most of the afternoon. Marc had 2 pairs of boots so he kindly leant me his. Surrounding Marc's boots that I was wearing was all this black dirt and mud. Hmmm someone has come in here before us from a big hike, ...

... and rocks. We made it through the hike without incident (although we were pretty dirty) and were greeted with a hot chocolate at the little restaurant at the hike exit.
We went back into town and had chicken and mashed potatoes with a delicious blueberry cream dumpling. After lunch we headed to rock climb and rappel. The cliff we were at had an easy medium and hard side and on the back side there was a platform to rappel from. I tried the easy route which was super fun but ...
