... 30 degrees outside, I was wearing shorts and a vest and hadn’t thought about taking a cardi or jacket! So I was pretty cold when I was down there as the temperature plummeted to around 10 degrees! Brrr!

That evening I treated myself to a McDonalds and relaxed in the hostel watching some of the Olympics. The next day I checked out, found a second hand book shop to swap my novel for a new one so that I had something to read on the train ...

... kopitar, they weren't really that informed about how awesome he is. Oh and we met a guy named Rene who took us out to the bars one night, it was pretty coo, he was party animal and a really good dude. All and all slovenia was great and let's leave it at that.

Ps Jessie insists that I mention the oldest grape vine in the world is located in Maribor, and yes we ate one of the grapes. ;)

... al na 30 sec ofzo....zo goed is m'n Sloveens nu ook weer niet. Hop alle lampen weer uit, en de muziekjes die ik geactiveerd had ook...tja, zo duurt hetbwel even. Mar wel heeel ingenieus hoor! Nog het vermelden waard, is het carnaval wat zei ook kennen, om iets andere redenen, nl winter uitzwaaien en lente verwelkomen, ivm alle groei ed. Dit met een mooie verkleedpartij eromheen! Foto volgt! Misschien ter inspiratie voor iemand die een pakje zoekt voor de carnaval volgend ...
