... br> We decided to finish or stay in Prague by attending another concert, so we chose the one at the Rudolfinum when there is yet another lovely concert hall. We enjoyed listening to all the old favorites that they must get tired of playing. They lacked the passion and entertainment value of the one we saw in Vienna, however it was lovely and not a late night. We had to finish packing as the train leaves early Friday morning for Vienna.
... so quiet! And we were actually able to walk around and look at things! The stalls weren't that varied, just trdelnik (the rolls of dough), crisps, small wooden magnets, iron bells and wooden Angels. That was about it! Not as good as the Munich markets. Obviously it's more of a German thing. I've never had chestnuts before! So I bought a bag from one of the stalls, 50 czk for a small bag. They were nice and warm to hold, out in the freezing night air. Not so nice to ...
... bread, while Johno has a meat/sauce meal. We check into the hotel at 3pm; it's a nice room even if the hotel seems a little dated. The Powder Tower is right nearby, We buy tickets for a Mozart and Strauss concert at the nearby Municipal building, beautiful early 1900s art neuveau architecture and design. It's a symphonic orchestra with scenes including some opera and ballet and really done well. Very European! We're really tired and ...
... today we did the clock, the old town, the Spanish synagogue, the Jewish cemetery, Charles Bridge...more walking....more old town...
The weather was v pleasant with plenty of sun and a temp of low twenties.
Nothing we went to, I would say was not worth it.....all were good to v good. The Spanish synagogue was very different, as was the Jewish cemetery.

... spend the afternoon. We shared Salmon Tartar and goose live pate to start and then Susan had Asparagus Green and white, Simon Veal Schnitzel and Rachel Duck followed by shared strawberry dumplings ( this time delicious! ) and a white and dark chocolate mousse. NZ$58
All very nice. All the places Rachel has found have been exceptional - just like she is.��
Rachel has more exams Tuesday and Wednesday so she left us and we aim to have the blog up to date and ...
