A travel blog entry by kanikacse13

Recently I visited Costa Rica which in every sense is 'La Pura Vida' (Pure Life and clearly living). This blog is intended to help fellow travellers to plan their stay in Costa Rica and I am writing it as per my experience in Paos, Arenal, Monteverde and Manuel Antonio. I have divided this review in four sections , one for each place I visited …

We got picked up at 7:15 this morning to go on the Sky Trek Canopy Tour in Monteverde. The canopy tour consisted of 9 ziplines. The longest zipline was close to half a mile. Some of the ziplines had speeds of almost 40 mph. The first zipline we did went through a cloud. About halfway along the line, we were no longer visible to those behind us. I …

Then I got to the fifth platform where the view took my breath away. It was so so so high over the canyon.. I was so close to tears and on top of that Dannii decided that she had enough and she won't continue. I managed to pull myself together ...

I had expected a bit more from the hotel. Everything was good but just I did not find it value for money. There is spa, pool and restaurant in the hotel. The room decor was jaded and it gave me feel of Inn and not like a 3 star hotel as it claims.
