    ZAKYNTHOS, GREECE, MAY 6, 2015
Today we are in Zakynthos one of the Ionian Isles. Today is a beautiful day and we are tendering ashore to the port of Zakynthos. The town is quite small and nestled along the sea shore. We drive up into the hills for a scenic overlook of the port. In the distance you can see Turtle Island where the loggerhead turtles lay their eggs. We continue further up the mountains. The sight was incredible, it was now 3.30pm and ...

... diesel electric generators which power the ship as well as powering the electric motors in pods external to the ship capable of rotating 360 degrees. The ship has no rudder and no central propellor! Also an explanation of some if the artworks around the ship. Early dinner at Britannia Restaurant and then with a great deal of trepidation we went to the Royal Court Theatre to see the comedian. He ...

... beside us and the wonderful speech. We love you both. We boarded our plane to Athens at 5pm , however there was a slight hiccup. They didn't give us a seat allocation as their computer system was down. Then when we were waiting to board the people without a seat allocation were put on standby!!!! Fortunately for them, they put us on our flight! We arrived at our hotel called "350 degrees" at 6.15pm. It's very cool with retro decore. See photos below! Off to bed for a big sleep ...
