Acapulco. Once one of the world's most famous and popular resort destinations, the pretty coastal city is now mainly only visited by vacationing Mexican families (and, apparently, us). Acapulco has seen its share of gruesome gang violence in recent years, and as with many other places in the country, there are regular government protests happening in the streets. But with all of us there, the writing was covered up by our butts and it just looked like part of the seating....8 rows back from the stage. Awesome! According to the people sitting next to us, the mariachi band was considered the best in Mexico. That's nice....where's Lila? Lila hit the stage a long wait later and it ...

    Acapulco!

I was expecting Acapulco to be overrun by Americans but apparently the resort had bad press a few years ago so the Americans and Canadians now head to Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. It seemed quite a safe place to me. This is probably helped by the fact that the Mexican Presidents two daughters are currently in the town. Armed police are very ...
