Today we spent the day sailing down the coast of Mexico. From our map, we are off the coast of Acapulco. No port stops today as we are heading to Guatamala, which takes two nights and two days sailing to arrive. The waters are very calm and the sailing very smooth. We are both very relaxed and Johnny is enjoying the variety of foods on board.

I was expecting Acapulco to be overrun by Americans but apparently the resort had bad press a few years ago so the Americans and Canadians now head to Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. We lingered on in Durango for a further day, slept late, caught the cable car up a nearby hill to take in the city, walked 300m through an underground tunnel between the main square and the minerals museum, visited the Museum of Francisco (Pancho) Villa and enjoyed a cheap dinner of the local speciality, gorditas. ... I walked into some giant pottery head, and smashed off a horn with my knee (proper hurt) cause some silly bint left it on the floor. Thankfully, didn’t have to pay for that because it was left in such a stupid place!
