The dojo of Red the Dog and his cheeky monkey

A travel blog entry by pixiekatten

I have made it through the first Dojo, the awakening! I have done the first 22 temples - 66 to go. Do I feel awake!? I feel a lot of things. I feel so much that I could burst. And at the same time I feel nothing, nothing more than a nice calm. My head is too tired to feel things. My feet are too tired. My back hurts from the backpack and from sleeping on the concrete of the rest hut. Im beat. But yet again I feel happier than ever. And most of all, I feel in ...

It kind of felt good between my toes, but at the same time, it was kinda icky. When we were turning around to go back the other way, I stood still for a moment and ...

Naruto Whirlpools

A travel blog entry by misocutlet

Before I came back to Australia, I took a detour and visited Naruto. It is needless to say that I wanted to see whirlpools in the Naruto Strait. I took an overnight bus arriving at Tokukshima at six and then took a train and bus to Naruto Park, where you can see whirlpools. It was raining in the morning. I arrived at the park at half past eight and it was too early to see whirlpools, so I walked to the Tea Garden Observatory and then to the Otsuka Museum of ...
