      Late breakfast then walk along Gran Via. Hotel check out 2pm. Spent the afternoon relaxing, reading and then had coffee and sandwich before taxi back to airport. Finally got a taxi driver who charged the fixed fare of 30 euros! Long flight home via Dubai arriving into Perth 1am on the 19th. Fabulous ...

      ... serious recession that the country was in. Table cloths were stained and had cigarette burn holes in them and menus were old and faded. The meal was pretty good and the service was great but you can't help but feel for the Spanish people and the situation that they are in.
