... each and every day going forward. We are still seeing some great walk areas, more pilgrams and many more stopping places now. We take advantage of most of them! Today we stopped at a pension with a washing machine but only 1 room left with 1 bed. The lady offered to put a mat on the floor for one of us so it turned out okay. I will take the mat as the sister had a bad sleep last night and a bad day. Her ...

    ... a bad thing :)
Back to the hotel for a rest and drink and we laid in our nice cool room watching BBC News. Topic of the day seems to be that the 'flat white' coffee has become more popular than a Cappuccino; funny I thought since I stopped drinking Cappuccinos a couple of months ago - not liking all that froth. When we finished that we tried to find some of ...

... that, and would not drink again till we arrived !!! Anyway, it was sort of a weird surreal night. Everyone settled down, and slept like on planes. But it was really uncomfortable - I wished that I had kept my plane blow up pillow handy, or something to anchor my head. And the seats didn't recline. So I don't think I really slept. In the morning I found that the toilets had been cleared....I guess they realized that it wouldn't be very pleasant with so ...

    Touristy time in Madrid

A travel blog entry by bridiebridie86 on Aug 30, 2014

Slept in while Luke went to the gym. Did a little exercise circuit on my own in the hotel room and nearly died !! So unfit now. We felt like salad so we went to tgi Fridays for lunch (we are staying in a touristy part of town) and I had a Cobb salad and a cocktail and Luke had salad and beer. Ended up being 46e which is ridiculously expensive. Did some shopping in h&m, ...
