It is also ...

... huge old building an early shopping arcade, the Castello Sforzesco- a 15th century walled village for the aristocracy of Milan, now a museum and art gallery. My favourite was the art gallery- amazing building and the paintings and other art was very impressive. History visit out of the way we hit the shops, have to say the grand kids came off well! Lovely children's clothing here. Then lunch break at a traditional Italian restaurant . ...
