Breakfast on board was at 8am not from 8am and the bell was rung to alert us that it was ready. It was a lovely spread of boiled eggs, hams, cheese, bread, cereal, juice, tea, yoghurt.....i could get used to this life! While were eating breakfast we were also sailing the hour from Split to Omis (pronounced Omish). We were given an outline of the day's cycling and I started getting nervous! It was about ...

Croatians don't seem so worried about safety! - most of the people on the sail are Australian. Mostly from Melbourne. Have made good friends with janaya, Bec and ...

... accommodation at 10.30pm at the oldest hotel in Split Park Hotel. we were greeted by a wedding party with wonderful music that Sue and I sang to while we drunk a few glasses of wine before heading off to bed, music continued to 1am. Rooms were compact but comfortable and the showers were built for little people. Next morning we had a full cooked breakfast of eggs and pancetta topped off with apricot danish pastries on the balcony once again. ...

... seriously) but after watching all these games it’s clear to see how so many have such amazing tans!

We got a sandwich and beers from one of the few snack bars which are dotted along the beach front. There are some classier establishments further round the beach if you are looking for something more substantial. All in all we decided it wasn’t a bad place to while away the hours until our boat came in. While we had been slightly ...
