We walked around the site- marble sarcophagus for the wealthy, the thermae- baths, Porta Caesare with separate walkways for pedestrians, touched stones on the ground with cartwheel ruts in them, sat in the shade under vines growing over a colonnade. The site has a colosseum which the neighboring houses overlook. Quite amazing.
