    ... fishing here..loads of boats, nice boats...tons of people walking place. We camped out and slept in for once waking to the old gun tower right above us. After coffee and the usual agonizing process of how to get and pay for the bill, we hiked to the top of the old fortress Mirabela for some great views over the town. I cannot believe they walked these stairs 500+ years ago without hand hold or rails ...

    We arrived into the scenic Dalmatian coast town of Split early morning. Having a port side balcony meant that we had a prime view of the palm fringed Riva (esplanade).
