... for a slice of spanakopita, and we managed to find a shoe repair shop. The owner recommended Bougris, the local taverna just across the cobblestone lane. A family affair, the restaurant was splendid and traditional.....meal balls and tomato sauce and stuffed eggplant and tomato. The side blind of the car had 'demagnetized' during the night, so the early morning sun flooded in and we awoke early, starting the day with a few rounds of sun salutations and standing ...

We had breakfast here in the morning which was rich with homely delicacies, but guests can find all kinds of snacks and meals which are served either at the indoor dining area or at the shaded poolside terrace.

GARDEN: The garden is really nice, but we spent most of the time by the sun beds around the pool.

IN ALL: The stay was short but exceptional and we long to be back!

In this cuisine you will find traditional and flavorsome dishes cooked in authentic tastes of the Greek cuisine. There is no way to ...

... Koroni, stopping along the way for quick swims along the coast.

At Koronin we stopped and had a late lunch – hoping that it would cool off so we could walk up to the castle remains, the heat is so debilitating , didn’t go just wandered along the sea front, not many people around – all got more sense and gone for a kip.

Our favourite day out from Kalamata was to Polminos waterfalls, it was quite a trek- narrow off road drive and then up walk to ...

... with a castle on the top. It was pretty but after spending a few days in Stoupa I would have to say I was a bit let down by the picture I saw. Maybe if it wasn't overcast and there were a few less thousand people I would have a different opinion; but none the less I enjoyed every second of cooling off in the water. This beach is situated on the Italy side of Greece which is the Adriatic Sea and it much less salty, which was a pleasant ...
