      ... on the other side of Debrecen as we approach the Romanian border. We cross into Romania without incident, although we're stopped by a policeman who checks our passports. Hilli comes out in a cold sweat. We try to buy a road vignette, but unlike in Austria and Switzerland, are assured with a smile that bikers don't need them.       ... on my part! They also had ironed chicken legs on the menu. The mind boggles.
      Mia (our new friend!) then came out to the car to take photos of it and us & to wave us off!

      36 degrees by now, thank goodness for air con, although we had tried to keep it a secret from some of the others in their 'vintage vehicles' not wanting to gloat (heehee!) but someone asked us straight out so we had to 'fess up!

      ... to the Roncs and enjoyed some live music. It was a 2 man band, but they were great! They played a large variety of covers, from The Foo Fighters to The Beatles. It was a great night and we learned that they play there every Wednesday.
