          My long awaited trip to the Skagit Valley tulip fields had arrived! Due to an exceptionally mild winter in the Seattle area, the tulip fields had bloomed and were gone before we arrived.           So I'm loving this entire glamourous camping thing.. If I can even call it that.           ... between the common grey seal and the majestic sea lion is the colour and the size. The lions as you probably can imagine are larges and a lot heavier weighing up to 300kg (660lbs) for a male and 100kg (220lbs) for a female. Sea lions grow up to 6 to 8 feet long (around 2 meters long).

          Maybe not the most interesting animal of the day, but other than the seals, sea lions and orcas,we saw two "beautiful" bald eagles ...
