A bit cloudy today as we depart for the "Alpine Jewels" optional tour with a local guide, after a 30 minute drive we arrive at a cable car at Vogel ski resort and go to the top of the mountain for a view over the lake. Later we stopped by Lake Bohinj to see St John's Church a 13th century church adorned with frescoes although we didn't go inside. It's a nice warm day today as we leave Vienna for Lake Bled in Slovenia. We meet our Tour Director Tadeusz Suski and we have 51 people on tour, mostly Aussies but about 8 from South Africa, some from the US, Canada, Phillipines, India and 1 from New Zealand.

En dit kasteel vond ik dan weer iets bijzonderder, aangezien het de oudste stad is, en er verder in dat stadje ook wel wat van te zien was. Alles samen is dat dan wel weer leuk!
