... bus system, as Maratea was made up of a few little hamlets, with the pretty port at the bottom, the beach on the next cove, then the station and finally the historical centre, which is where we stayed. The buses ran every hour and went on a continuous loop through all these destinations for 60cents each. ... and moved into an apartment. But he works for her as he takes people out on the boat and he makes the breakfast. But that night they were having a bonfire at the beach, we didn't go but the rest of the hostel did so we tried to get to sleep before they came back. After a restless night sleep, we went back to the beach for a little bit before catching the train back to Rome. We weren't staying in Praja another night!

... car) we all headed back to take the ride back down. It had started thundering too & was pretty grim - very limitted scenic views. In the cable car, heading back down.......big flash of lightning.........there we stopped! We were hanging there for about half an hour with the rain beating at the cable car windows, thunder & lightning going off. Not very pleasant!!!
One of the people in our car was claustrophobic.........as you can imagine ...
