... the drawbridge where we all had to duck our heads it was so low! Well worth the 7 euros each.

Then we went into the castle courtyard and went up on the balcony for lunch at The Bounty Bar where I had salmon ravioli (so good) and Neil had gnocchi which he raved over. Had a 1/2 litre of the local white wine, which was good too. By this time the rain had followed us from Stresa and we just had a quick wander around the streets of ...

... days after the 28th day, or if it was late, it would come 10 days late, exactly. Always in the late evening. While we enjoy our cappuccino and croissants we chat with a couple sitting at the next table. ...

... of the fountain and the center square, was a dimly lit second floor restaurant accessible by walking up a fairly steep cobblestone street. We decided to explore this option. As we entered a grotto style entrance we were met by carefully place foliage. It was as though we had entered into a luschious cave in the outdoors. The owner, who spoke very little English, guided us to one of the tables overlooking the piazza below and the town fountain we had ...

Off To the South of Italy!

... We were off! Exiting the building through 7 levels of switchbacks was a good introduction to Italian roads. For those of you who might not have had the opporunity to drive in Italy or Europe, the parking garages as well as the streets tend to be about 3 sizes smaller than they are in North America.

So when we exited the building following the directions provided, both Linda and I expected to have to make a number of u-turns along the way. We were both pleasantly surprised ...
